Could you help ensure that community knowledge shapes decisions across East Surrey?

Voluntary Action Surrey East (VASE) and Central Surrey Voluntary Action (CSVA) are looking for an experienced relationship-builder to play a central role in delivering the East Surrey Community Insight Partnership (ESCIP).

You will:

  • Build trusted relationships across the VCSE sector
  • Bring organisations and partners together
  • Gather and identify themes from community intelligence
  • Turn insight into clear briefings for decision-makers
  • Create stronger feedback loops between communities and local partners
  • Help demonstrate the value of ESCIP’s first-year model

We’re interested in candidates with experience in community development, engagement, participation, research, service improvement, health, local government or partnership working. You do not need to have held a role with “community insight” in its title.

Role details:

  • Oxted, with regular travel across East Surrey
  • £36,000 FTE, pro rata to £22,629 per annum for 22 hours per week
  • 12-month fixed-term contract, with an intention to extend subject to funding
  • Closing date: 18 September 2026
  • Interviews: 29 September 2026
